GPSR Suite helps Shopify merchants display the product safety information required by Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on their product pages: manufacturer details, EU responsible person details, and safety warnings.
All data the app manages — manufacturer profiles, responsible person profiles, warnings, and their assignment to products — is stored inside the merchant's own Shopify store as Shopify metafields and metaobjects. The app operates on this data through Shopify's Admin API from within the Shopify admin. It does not copy this data to any external server or database.
The app does not request access to customer data, does not collect personal data of the merchant's customers, and sets no cookies or trackers on the storefront. The storefront component renders safety information only and makes no network requests.
Because the app stores no customer data and no shop data outside of the merchant's own store, there is nothing for us to produce in response to a data access request and nothing for us to erase on uninstall beyond what Shopify removes automatically. We acknowledge Shopify's customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact webhooks as required.
